Taking over a full city block in downtown Vancouver adjacent to BC Place, the BC Lions Backyard Street Party gives the Lions an opportunity to extend their brand and footprint outside the stadium and gives fans the chance to come down to the stadium early and get revved up in their team colours before the game. Kicking off the season home opener in June each year, this fully licensed outdoor fan zone hosts a maninstage with top Canadian talent (The Trews, Bif Naked), sponsor activations, food trucks and fun photo ops. It’s a classic tailgate with a Canadian twist and it never fails to deliver the energy and enthusiasm that BC Lions fans are looking for.
