Emily first learned she had a knack for establishing partnerships while working with non-profits in Nairobi, Kenya. Fundraising was a natural fit that aligned with her passion for supporting community initiatives and bringing people together to accomplish a shared goal. Her career led her to business development with WE Day, North America’s signature stadium-sized youth empowerment event, where she supported sponsorships of clients such as 7-Eleven Canada, Cineplex, TELUS, and Accenture. ‘Community’ is the common thread that underlines Emily’s professional journey.
