Andy was born and raised in Northern Ireland, where he earned two diplomas in Construction. In 2010, he relocated from Ireland due to the economic recession and began an international career. His journey started in Vietnam, where he worked in the travel industry and extensively toured Southeast Asia.
In 2012, Andy discovered his passion for events management during the London Olympics, where he played a critical role in managing hospitality kiosks at the Olympic Stadium. He further honed his expertise in The Netherlands, serving as a Production Manager for the Trek Food Truck Festival and gaining substantial experience in large-scale event logistics.
After immigrating to Kelowna, BC, in 2016, Andy specialized in tenting and wedding production across the Okanagan region. Since 2018, he has been based in Vancouver, where he has taken on various roles in the events industry and continuously built his skills and knowledge.
As a Site Manager at BrandLIVE, Andy epitomizes the "first in, last out" ethos. He excels as a hands-on leader, managing suppliers, collaborating with skilled site crews, and overseeing the seamless execution of events—an aspect of his work that brings him immense pride and fulfillment.
Outside of work, Andy is a dedicated dog dad to two huskies and a passionate sports enthusiast. He actively engages with football and rugby as a spectator, attendee, and U13 coach. In the winter, he embraces the outdoors with late-night snowboarding sessions at Cypress Ski Hill, enjoying the vibrant local community.
