COVID-19 Safety & Best Practices

Moving forward, live event organizers need to prioritize physical distancing along with enhanced protective measures within their safety plans to ensure the wellbeing of all staff, contractors, and attendees.

Brandlive, in consultation with Worksafe BC, Office of the Provincial Health Officer, and BC Centre for Disease Control has developed a robust series of best practices to help guide meetings, galas, conferences, micro-events, and virtual broadcasts, including but certainly not limited to:

  • Re-configured guest flow + site plans for proper distancing
  • Addition of hand sanitizing stations at key entry points
  • Pre-event comms strategy to ensure guests are informed of safety measures being implemented
  • Comprehensive COVID signage plan to move guests through the event safely with maximum impact
  • Custom-branded face masks
  • Contact tracing for crew, contractors + attendees
  • Implementation of temperature checks at key entry points

In addition to this Brandlive will monitor Provincial Health Orders and work with all local authorities and health authorities to ensure all the necessary permits and approvals are in place.

  • Liaise with Vancouver Coastal Health, or your local health authority to gain the relevant approvals
  • Create and circulate an in-depth risk assessment and safety plan Work with event suppliers to ensure all parties are COVID compliant when onsite
  • Carry out on-site assessments to ensure best practices are being followed
