The Strategy
A custom crafted celebration

The Stanley 125 celebration showcased more than 200 live performances and attracted over 50,000 people over the course of the weekend. The main stage, LIVE at Second Beach, featured performances from an all-Canadian line-up of musical artists booked by BRANDLIVE, including Ali Milner, Arkells, The Belle Game, Born Ruffians, The Matinee, We Are The City, You Say Party, and Watasun.

The Lion’s Head Lounge, a custom-built licensed area, hosted more than 15,000 people over the course of the weekend and featured an acoustic stage, bocce ball courts, barbecued lunches, and a spectacular selection of Stanley Park Brewery draft beer. With the help of municipal funding, BRANDLIVE was responsible for the talent booking, production, marketing and sponsorship of the two day free outdoor concerts, custom-built licensed area and brand activations on Ceperley Field at Second Beach.

The Impact
Leaving a lasting impression

One of the main lasting impacts of the festival was it’s highlight of the park’s ecology, First Nations history, and its value as a modern urban park enjoyed by over eight million visitors annually. With 200-plus performances and activities, Celebrate! Stanley Park was the largest summer festival ever held in Vancouver’s “evergreen heart” park.
