Shining a light on community

When the FCMC came to Vancouver in 2013, BRANDLIVE was brought on by the City of Vancouver to raise sponsorship funds and produced three major events: the Mayor’s Welcome Reception, the Host City Gala, and the FCM Closing Breakfast. The 2013 Conference raised more sponsorship funds than any other FCM Conference in history.

BRANDLIVE was responsible for overseeing all aspects of programming, décor, technical, logistics, and entertainment at each of the three events, as well as raising more sponsorship funds than any other FCMC in the event’s history.

Located at the Vancouver Convention Centre, the FCM Gala featured a cocktail reception, followed by dinner, live entertainment, and dancing. Custom video content was created and displayed throughout the evening, each highlighting a specific industry sector of Vancouver and offered sponsors prime opportunities to tell their story.

The Impact
Leaving a lasting impression

The FCM Conference centered around a Gala event with invites to 3,000+ delegates and partners to enjoy a VIP dinner and show hosted by the City of Vancouver. This event brought together a wide array of municipalities and thought leaders to discuss challenges and create positive change while shining a spotlight on Vancouver and all it has to offer.
