Four Seasons Hotel – Vancouver BC

The Challenge
Elegance with an edge

Since its inception in 1987, the Crystal Ball has become one of the most anticipated events in Vancouver and one of the most prestigious black-tie fundraising galas in the country. For consecutive years starting in 2013, BRANDLIVE has strategized how best to elevate the prestigious standing of this longstanding event by incorporating new production aspects and programming to give the Crystal Ball new life.

The Strategy
Striving for the extraordinary

Held in the Park Ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel, the big-top circus decor brought to life the theme of “Extraordinary”. Guests enjoyed a champagne reception and a sumptuous four-course dinner provided by Chef Ned Bell of the Four Seasons, as well as a live and silent auction.
BRANDLIVE designed, produced, and executed the event, overseeing all aspects of programming, entertainment, décor, technical, and logistics.

The Impact
Making an investment in the future

With the overwhelming support of the community in 2013, BCCHF announced that they had reached their $200 million goal and aim to break ground on a new hospital in 2018. Additional funds raised in following years of the event have been allocated toward the $6-million Children’s Healing Experience Project. The project – the first of its kind in Canada – is designed to create inspirational healing experiences by integrating curated, purposeful art into the new Teck Acute Care Centre.
