The Challenge | Going Virtual
Every year, Crowe Mackay hosts a conference for its employees to deliver key company updates and host influential keynote speakers. In 2020, due to the ongoing global pandemic, the in-person gathering was cancelled. Brandlive was tasked with transforming this annual conference into an impactful virtual event that allowed for meaningful employee engagement. The challenge was finding the right platform that met the needs of the client and programming, while allowing employees to connect with one another. Along with developing a social activity schedule and creating dynamic on-screen graphics, Brandlive had to execute the new event in under four short weeks.

The Strategy | Making it Accessible and Engaging
In order to build an entirely new event in under a month and connect employees of Crowe Mackay, Brandlive had to work closely with the client to understand the content and core audience, as well as select a platform that would suit their unique programming needs. The solution was a turnkey easy-to-use platform that would remove barriers for the audience, but was engaging enough to encourage people to tune in and participate. Brandlive also assisted in directing a perfect mix of live Q&A’s, pre-recorded sessions, and social activities in order to enhance the experience. From there, Brandlive coordinated a series of pre-recorded sessions to allow for smooth transitions on the conference days. To reinforce the Crowe Mackay brand, the event platform was customized with brand graphics and Brandlive created stunning graphic animations, interstitials, speaker bumpers, and countdowns that were implemented throughout the digital broadcasting of content.

The Impact | Creating Connection from Afar
The end result was a sleek, professional virtual conference that not only allowed employees to hear important updates about the firm, but also allowed them to engage directly with senior management as well as other employees. The social activities were a huge success among attendees as they allowed them to socialize with their coworkers from the comfort of their homes.
