As a tactic to increase season ticket holders and say thank you to dedicated fans, Amar Doman, the new owner of the BC Lions, started a series of concerts designed to build the fan base and create excitement for those attending the season’s first game. Branded as the Home Opener Concert, In 2023, headliner LL Cool J brought the house down with a high-impact 45-minute pre-game show. Technically challenging, BrandLIVE had to integrate a concert stage within the confines of a stadium, ensuring the crowd of 32,000 could see and hear this remarkable performance while also considering no disruption to the match or the broadcast. It required seamless integration with the BC Lions Game Ops team, artist production, and the building, and it got the crowd pumped for a shutout victory.
