The Strategy
Where ‘place’ is important

Canada Day at Canada Place delivers a non-stop, all-day, family-friendly celebration of our country’s rich culture, including multiple stages featuring music, dance and kids programming, and a citizenship ceremony that welcomes 60 new Canadians each year.

BRANDLIVE is responsible for creative direction, site-wide programming, talent booking, site logistics, production and execution for all daytime Canada Day events, including extensive sponsor and exhibitor activations and an evening VIP party for key stakeholders.

Canada Day 2016 marked the 30 year anniversary of Expo 86, the historic World Expo that brought international attention to Vancouver, BC. The 2016 Canada Day Expo 86 Pavilion was located inside of Canada Place and featured a gallery of memorabilia from the World Fair as well as timelines showing where Vancouver began, the present and the cities future.

The Impact
From country to community

Canada Day at Canada Place brings together a wide demographic of Canadians to celebrate our community, whilst garnering international attention that highlights Canadian values. BRANDLIVE is thrilled to continue its contributions towards the success of this event into the future as plans to expand the gallery are in place for 2017.
