Victoria, BC - brand.LIVE, a full service marketing, production and sponsorship company based in Vancouver, delivered one of the largest events the city of Victoria has ever seen. The Festival was marked with world-class weekend festivities in the Provincial Capital, capturing the true spirit and imagination of British Columbians and included performances by Sarah McLachlan, Burton Cummings, Colin James and Dal Richards. Over 40,000 fans were on hand for Feist, which was the final performance of the evening but attendance through the four day festival was well over 100,000. The weekend consisted of four days of free, family-oriented activities, taking place throughout Victoria’s picturesque Inner Harbour from Friday, August 1st through BC Day Monday, August 4th, and showcased the rich history, vibrant culture and entrepreneurism of British Columbia. “We are extremely proud of the end result” said Paul Runnals, Senior Vice President of Production for brand.LIVE and executive producer of BC Festival 150. “Having the parliament buildings as the backdrop and a sea of people enjoying the music under sunny skies was really something special”. It’s been a busy summer for the brand.LIVE crew. The summer began with the brand.LIVE team producing a large scale Bollywood show in Toronto. The following week half the team made their way to the inaugural Pemberton Festival where brand.LIVE produced the B-Live tent. The next day, it was off to Victoria to begin preparations for Festival 150. The event was a success on all fronts. Attendance, sponsorship sales and media coverage were all well above expectation.
